LIVE NATIVITY presentation Sacred Heart Church, Groton, CT 12/18/10

Sacred Heart Church of Groton had a LIVE NATIVITY presentation, Christmas caroling, and refreshments for the holiday enjoyment of the residents of Southeastern CT. Proceeds for refreshments will go to the Cross International to build homes in Haiti.

Drunk driver hits Seat bus Groton, CT12/17/10

The driver of car said she was pulling out of Flat's Tattoo onto Fort Hill Rd when she lost control and hit the front left corner of bus. There were three minor injuries and 3 refusals for care reported by the Groton Town Police on scene.

Eastern Point Wine & Spirits Robbed Groton, Ct 12/15/10

Liquor store on Eastern Point Rd in Groton was robbed by two suspects around 7pm tonight. Two people wearing masks over their faces went into the store and so far according to reports stole beer and liquor, may have stolen more. Waiting on reports from police. Both groton City and town police have set up a perimeter with the a canine unit, assisted by Uconn Police from Avery point. Roads throughout the City are being blocked and Patrolled. Police said over scanner that they believe they may be dealing with at least one youthful offender, but that hasn't been confirmed.
